Liz Porter's Quilt of Valor definitely has star power. She used combinations of 4″, 8″, 12″, and 16″ blocks in a classic red, blue and gold scheme. She said this quilt started out as a block exchange, and it would also be fun made up in batiks. Use the Fons and Porter Binding Tool to get a smooth finish for binding ends every time.
