Easy Quilts Summer 2019
Summertime and the quiltin’ is easy!
But an easy quilt doesn’t have to be ho-hum, run-of-the-mill patchwork. Au Contraire! Our designers knocked our socks off when we asked them to “go big and think fun” in fresh quilt designs for summer.
What could be easier than big blocks in simple settings? Check out Center Stage and Easy Street—perfect quilts to display novelty prints. Quickly stitch up an oversized star to make the sweet Twinkles baby quilt. Create curves in the large Marrakesh blocks with simple fusible appliqué. Flying Geese make a grand appearance in both Geese and Goslings and Glad Midsommer.
For a little fun in the sun, set sail with Rock the Boat or OceanBreeze. Whip up Berry Patch, All Hands on Deck, and Patriotic Friends in time for Independence Day celebrations.
We love, love, love how the extra-big and bright flowers pop in Mary Hertel’s simple foundation-pieced Easy Peasy Posies.
