Announcing the ‘Art as Inspiration’ Reader Challenge Finalists!

Postage stamps around the world have long commemorated all sorts of people, things, historical events, causes, and more. Postage stamps often feature the work of well-known artists. Some are exquisite miniature pieces of art on their own.

We challenged readers to create a ‘postage stamp’ quilt inspired by an art hero—their favorite modern artist, architect, or other creative individual. We were thrilled with the heartfelt expressions of each and every submission we received. Quilting Arts readers are a clever and creative bunch! Thank you for your continued submissions to our Reader Challenges, your work brightens our inbox and expands our artistic minds. With that in mind, we are pleased and proud to announce the finalists for this challenge!
