Cut
(Cut in order listed)
Green print and blue print – cut from each:
1 rectangle 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
Cream print – 1 square 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
Yellow print and red print – Cut from each:
1 strip 2 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
Cream solid – 2 strips 2 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
Red solid – 1 square 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Sew
1. Referring to Diagram I, sew green print 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle to right side of cream print 4″ square. Sew blue print 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ rectangle to left side. Stitch yellow print 8 1/2″ strip to bottom and red print 8 1/2″ strip to top. Sew cream solid 8 1/2″ strip to left side. Stitch red solid 2 1/2″ square to remaining cream 8 1/2″ strip. Sew to bottom to complete block.
